The WCDS is committed to a safe return to in-person events

For 40 years, the Western Canadian Dairy Seminar has been the premiere meeting place for the dairy industry in Western Canada. The continued health and safety of our delegates, speakers, and sponsors is of the utmost importance. As the WCDS is affiliated with the University of Alberta, the 2022 Seminar will be following all Alberta Health Services and University of Alberta health regulations, in addition to enhanced cleaning and format adjustments to facilitate distancing.

The current COVID restrictions include:

  • Proof of double vaccination is required (negative COVID test is not acceptable at this time). Information on proof of vaccine records can be found here.
  • Masks must be worn at all times, unless eating/drinking while seated
  • Self-isolate if you are experiencing any COVID-like symptoms or are feeling unwell

In the event the 2022 WCDS is cancelled due to COVID-19 all registrants will receive a full refund or can choose to defer their registration until 2023. If attendance numbers are capped, those who registered first will be given priority with all those who are not able to attend receiving a full refund or deferral. If you have any COVID-19 symptoms or feel unwell before/during the 2022 WCDS, your registration can be substituted, deferred or refunded (minus a $50 administration fee).

We thank everyone for their cooperation and understanding while we work to bring together an exciting 40th annual WCDS and keep everyone safe. We hope to see you in March!
